OPENING PLENARY 1 – Global Transport Perspectives
Plenary Session - Vehicles: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared, Data, Transport and Information - Plaza Auditorium
16 August 2022
11:00 am - 12:30 pm - 16 August 2022
Breakout 01 - Vehicles: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared (CAV)
Breakout Session - Vehicles: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared - Plaza Auditorium
Connected, Autonomous, Electric and Shared Vehicles are transforming the norm of transport industries. The development of CAVs has benefited from technologies in automation, sensing, connectivity, navigation and safety enforcement. Trials of CAVs have been seen in various places around the world with the intent to understand the operation environment, the ecosystem and the implication to urban mobility. These, combined with the increased use of electric and shared vehicles, will all have major impacts on our transportation network.
11:00 am - 12:30 pm - 16 August 2022
Breakout 02 - Data, Transport, and Information
Breakout Session - Data, Transport and Information - Plaza P6+7
Data analytics derive actionable insights from the vast quantity of data generated from various transport systems. The impact of data analytics is amplified by an ecosystem consists of data service suppliers, platform providers, regulators and end users. Such an ecosystem supports the utilisation of data for the development in advanced learning models that are the building blocks for Artificial Intelligence in transport.
11:00 am - 12:30 pm - 16 August 2022
Breakout 03 - Future Mobility
Breakout Session - Future Mobility - Plaza P8
Future Mobility has become one of the fastest growing sectors in the ITS industry and is a key contributor to smart transport and the liveability of our cities, suburbs and regional communities. It coincides with other customer centric, demand responsive transport initiatives to mark a global trend towards sustainable and accessible urban mobility.
11:00 am - 12:30 pm - 16 August 2022
Breakout 04 - Vehicles: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared (CAV)
Breakout Session - Vehicles: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared - Plaza P9
Connected, Autonomous, Electric and Shared Vehicles are transforming the norm of transport industries. The development of CAVs has benefited from technologies in automation, sensing, connectivity, navigation and safety enforcement.
